Decking and Timber Lasure Stain and Varnish on Timbers

This higher build durable polyurethane varnish provides greater timber protection and will last longer than the decking oils.

Key Features

It protects and rejuvenates colour without hiding the natural timber grain. Combined with its superior durability and water repellency, it is designed specifically for exterior walk-on and other timber surfaces including timber decks, doors, pergolas, hand rails, gates, fences, screens and outdoor furniture.

Best Results

It is suitable for use on most exterior grade dressed timbers in good condition. Not suitable for use on rough sawn timber, or profiles which cannot be readily maintained.

Characteristics

A transparent toned polyurethane varnish which combines the beauty of a stain with the durability of a varnish in a single product.

Use on

Exterior walk-on and other timber surfaces including timber decks, doors, pergolas, hand rails, gates, fences, screens and outdoor furniture.

Apply with brush, applicator or roller.

Touch dry in 1 - 2 hours.

Recoat in 24 hours.

Clean up in turps.

Coverage up to 12 m2 per coat.

Number of coats 3 coats.

Wax enriched to repel water that could otherwise cause timber to crack, warp or split. It also avoids discolouration of timber.
